It would be great if they could be more competitive compared to other multinational companies in the market when it comes to financial compensation or extra benefits such as schooling and housing.

Appreciate the review. As you mentioned, our culture is our strength and differentiator. Part of that is being able to grow your career here and I am glad you are finding this to be true. I am sorry you think that our compensation and benefits could be more competitive. We utilize international benchmarks to help us craft the right Total Rewards strategy but are always looking to improve. Please reach out to the your HRBP with any suggestions.

Pros

Great company benefits and a welcoming, inclusive environment. In the 5 years that I have been here the leadership have never made any false promises to me and have always followed through with commitments to employees. they do genuinely care about people here, your allowed to be human and you dont just feel like a number like you do in some larger corporations, there is definitely a focus on retaining that personal "family" feeling that inspires teams to work together for a common objective: Serve our customers. Choice to work remotely full time and are flexible with hours and start times plus generous holiday allowance. I have been working in the tech support industry for about 15 years and I have worked at and heard a lot of companies say that they do the things that BeyondTrust do... the culture, the inclusivity, the opportunity for progression and training etc. the difference is other companies say they offer those things and from my experience rarely follow through with it once you are working there and get swept up in the daily grind. Here at BeyondTrust, they genuinely do all of what they say. I started out as a tech support engineer and worked my way up into managing one of the support teams for EMEA. My 5 years here have taught me that if you work hard, commit to your job, learn the products, prioritise giving good customer service and make an effort to actually fix customers issues then you can go far, it's genuinely somewhere you can grow your career and become a Subject-Matter Expert for the products, if you're an engineer looking for progression and want to move away from all those managed service companies and their revolving doors this place is for you.

Cons

Things sometimes move at a Glacial speed when decisions need to come from higher up Company vision is not always clear on a technical level, it's more of a generalised higher level overview, great for non-techies, but us techies like a little more product vision sometimes. This is improving though with the new CTO As someone in the support org, I would like to see a little more recognition of what we do and how we contribute to the customer experience, but that's more of an industry-wide problem then something specific to BeyondTrust anyway. Support engineers rarely get recognition from upper management across the tech industry, it's better at BeyondTrust then most places but still would like to see support get a bit more recognition and the occasional "Well done"

Thank you for the detailed review. You bring up many great points about the company and areas that we can improve. In terms of positives, I am glad they align around our Employee Value Proposition of Believe, Belong, Become – believing in what we do makes a difference, feeling like you belong at the company, and your time here helps you become the professional you want to be. On the technical company vision, I am glad you said we are making progress as this is a focus for us. We know there is more to be done so please provide feedback to your HRBP. Thanks for being part of the team.
