Where do I start. They don’t offer you a 401k. I have never worked for a company that doesn’t do that. The pay structure for your job responsibilities is extremely low. In todays economy, I don’t know how anyone can make a living on $14.00 an hour. It’s just not enough. They promise you that you will make commission once you start building a pipeline but it’s next to impossible because of several factors. Number 1 certain things are based on how quick compliance sends out things like settlement letters. A lot of the debt consolidators I was collaborating with on a day to day basis would not pay on the customers account unless they received that letter and at that point you’re at the mercy of the specific department that is suppose to mail or fax those letters to them. I t would weeks and weeks for that to happen some times. You could have done everything you were suppose to do and guess what, you’re not hitting your stair pay because of issues like that. Majority of people will not answer their phone. The new job I am at at least gives you some a new hire bonus for the for the first 3 months until you establish some sort of pipeline. Now you’re stuck with a check for someone who is in High School to budget for your adult life. Increase your pay, these are adults looking to make a livable wage. On top of the fact, they need you to be extra careful on the phone due to the different laws of contacting people, you’re asked to submit spreadsheets and keep track of every account you collected on which isn’t a problem, and sometimes you might get stuck on the phone after you’re supposed to get off and they don’t pay overtime! As a matter of fact when I was suppose to receive overtime once they took it out of my check. Once you leave they don’t give you no clear directions on how to return their equipment. They don’t send you a shipping label. They will then include that equipment fee on your final paycheck oh and also not pay you for the pto you accrued. You receive next to nothing when it comes to PTO. I can go on and on. This is a job for someone in high school or someone who doesn’t believe they can do better in life. The final straw for me is when I spoke to a team lead and they told me they only received a $1 dollar pay increase for getting promoted. That absolutely crushed me. She was great at what she did also. So you’re telling me I can work my tail off, get promoted and all you’re going to do is pay me $15 dollars an hour oppose to $14 dollars an hour. Think long and hard before you choose to work for this company.
