Pros

Bio-Reference truly has a great culture that is driven from the top down. Everyone is so appreciative of the work you do and the value you bring to the table, and they’re always willing to help you learn and grow. It’s a decent sized company that encourages you to reframe the perspective of the work you do every day so that it never gets old and it never starts to feel like it’s not a significant contribution. There is always a lot of work to be done, so sometimes it can feel a bit hectic and busy, but I appreciate the variety of work and how no two days feel alike.

Cons

Employees who don’t take the safety regulations seriously. Eventually they get found out and are let go, but I just wish everyone would have the same respect for safety rules as I do.

My supervisor has my back

Pros

Knowing that the leadership has my back gives me a sense of security that I’ve never had at a job before. Yes, the work is hard, I’m not denying that, but if you have poor work ethic you’re in the wrong industry anyways.

Cons

No cons. Just know that lazy employees don’t last long.

Pros

1. One of the most dynamic work environments I've ever experienced. There are so many talented people working in the company and I’ve already learned so much from my peers and managers. I have never faced a situation where I felt scared asking questions or bringing things to the attention of senior management, they are always more than willing to sit down and talk and they have never made me feel like I was wasting their time. 2. The work I get to do here is the most challenging work I've accomplished in my career. 3. They gave me plenty of opportunities in my time here to grow in my career and continue my education. I’ve honed my skills and perfected my craft and been encouraged in both pursuits every step of the way. 4. I’m paid an excellent salary and benefits are more than affordable. 5. They provide a degree of flexibility over my work schedule that I appreciate.

Cons

The work itself is very solitary which can feel isolating at times. I don’t like when new employees get added to the mix. It’s jarring to my established routine.
