Still a good place to work at.

Pros

Growing company - lots of fun seeing new things develop. Lots of opportunities move into and learn new skills/build your own career paths. Weakness overall are getting addressed, some areas slowly other areas quickly. Compensation is being revamped to be more competitive globally.

Cons

Growing company - growing pains. While there are good areas, there are also bad areas in the company to work in - not overly consistent - depends on who senior management is and what values they have. Happy working in IT, very unhappy working in Manufacturing. Does not seem to be a balance check in management - no one is checking competence it seems - your lucky if you get a good manger, very unlucky if you get a bad one (and good luck trying to transfer away from one that doesn't like you). Some old time managers have a hard time scaling up.

Pros

Solid pay compared to other companies. Generally a great group of people to work with. Always room for advancement and education. Very comfortable and ergonomic chairs/desks.

Cons

Could have more role diversity. You get tired of taking the same type of call day after day. But with room for advancement, you won't be taking the same call for more than 2 years.

Pros

Interesting technology, decent compensation and a great work environment. The BlackBerry is a neat tool that is given to every employee to use as a personal device. As a developer, you'll also be using them in your work regardless of what layer you're working on. The compensation isn't amazing but it is decent for being a Canadian company, and job security is pretty stable. The work environment can be busy at times but overall it is pretty enjoyable and can also be relaxing.

Cons

Lack of long-term career development as well as ineffective communication between management and employees. While raises aren't uncommon, promotions seem to be.
