Avoid nepotism, unnecessary drama and useless HR
Pros
There are the typical pros of working at this sort of company but they are greatly overshadowed by the cons.
Cons
I'd strongly recommend working against working in the Safety Operations Centre. Several people in a dysfunctional, highly dramatic family work in this department, one being in a supervisory role over the others and all the nastiness and favoritism you would expect in this kind of situation is present. Being around these people for 12 hours at a time is far more stressful than work involving preventing injury and saving lives; that speaks greatly to the working conditions. When issues arise, the essentially non-existent HR department will only act to protect the company and isn't interested in promoting a healthy work environment. Many of these reviews are solicited/fake, if you can't tell. You have been warned.
