      Pros

      everyone is friendly and always willing to give a hand. my understanding is that there were cultural issues before i started (people being pushed too hard, lack of communication from leaders), but I've been here for 4 months and haven't felt any of that. to me, that's the best sign of all--that a company is willing to grow and change. also we get catered lunch everyday and a whole stock of cereal and bars and fruit and a fridge full of yogurt, oj, etc. I think that's awesome.

      Cons

      all the usual things about a startup - plans can change quickly, people come and people go. but in general it's fun and solid and a good place to grow as an engineer

      Pros

      After being here for about 6 months, I've already been able to have a larger impact than I have at other companies after much longer periods of time. It's exciting to work on projects that actually help others, and the pace keeps me on my toes.

      Cons

      As we've been growing quickly, there are different areas of the company with different levels of tech debt and engineer seniority. There is lots of opportunity to move around, which is good, as each area feels very unique, so some may not be as good of a fit as others.
