Pros

At Bloomwell Autism Therapy, collaboration and teamwork are genuinely valued. There is strong structured support, clear opportunities for advancement, and the RBT training is exceptional compared to other companies in the community. Bloomwell also offers programs that support RBTs who are interested in pursuing their BCBA by providing opportunities to earn both restricted and unrestricted hours. They partner with colleges as well, creating an invested and supportive pathway for RBTs who are pursuing higher education and professional growth. For employees who are not interested in advancing into a BCBA or higher-level clinical role, Bloomwell provides opportunities to grow within the operations side of the company. This flexibility allows employees to maintain autonomy over their career path and advance in a way that aligns with their individual goals and strengths. Bloomwell also prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration, supporting BCBAs in working closely with related service providers such as SLPs and OTs. Being able to provide multiple services in the same location significantly reduces barriers for families, especially those with limited access to transportation. Ongoing communication among BCBAs, SLPs, and OTs ensures care is well coordinated, individualized, and truly meaningful for each child. I also highly value Bloomwell’s caregiver guidance model. It provides BCBAs with a structured, supportive framework to effectively teach parents and caregivers while empowering families to become active agents of change in their child’s life. Through ROOT (Reinforcing Outcomes and Ongoing Training), caregivers gain a clear understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis, key behavioral concepts, and practical strategies they can apply at home and in the community. Bloomwell truly prioritizes the well-being of the children they serve. Unlike some companies that take on a high volume of clients without sufficient support, Bloomwell is intentional about ensuring clients are well established before onboarding additional families. I also appreciate the leadership I work under and their transparency. BCBA work can be challenging, and feeling both emotionally and professionally supported is something Bloomwell consistently demonstrates and something I deeply value.

Cons

I have been with Bloomwell for almost two months and have not identified any significant concerns with the company itself. The only limitation I have observed relates to RBT scheduling, including guaranteed hours being capped at 30 per week unless additional hours are available, and the expectation of availability until 4:00 PM even when not scheduled. That said, this is common across many ABA companies and appears to be more reflective of broader economic and industry-related factors rather than a Bloomwell-specific issue. I do not view this as a complaint, as I genuinely feel supported and welcomed at Bloomwell.

Pros

good communication, guaranteed 30 hours a week, supportive and fun environment, knowledgable BCBAs so far! treats for staff such as break room snacks, coffee bar, class pass and bonusly points

Cons

Company is new, so policies / rules are sometimes unknown, only getting 30 hour a week ( most people want to be at 40).

Pros

Genuinely care about their employees as humans Quality care is prioritized over financials Performance concerns are approached with compassion and training/support A true TEAM-approach Leadership that is open to feedback and actually going to act and/or respond to the feedback

Cons

Being a newer company, there is not always access to the most efficient systems. However, the leadership team has made custom dashboards to keep track of all KPIs
