Pros

There are no pros anymore.

Cons

Current local management is awful. Zero respect for the employees. Harassment complaints aren’t dealt with. They don’t respect the CBA and make the unionized workers fight for what is clearly in the agreement. They force you to take holidays when they want you to and have multiple plant shutdowns a year solely for the purpose of making you eat up your holidays. There is a constant threat of a plant closure if we don’t comply with what they want. The money isn’t even great anymore considering that you need to take so much unpaid time off if you don’t have holidays to use at their shut downs. Management are all best friends so nothing will ever get done about any harassment claims against them.
