Pros

Good hours, travel was nice. Pretty much unlimited overtime opportunities. Drill sites were safe, equipment was well maintained and management followed through on requests.

Cons

Nothing really to mention here, unless new hires or employees do not live in the local Nevada area the travel could get old or impact the personal life.

Pros

In 2012 Boart Longer set a record for revenue. There was great potential for growth as the company was expanding. It was a very challenging environment that was exhilerating to work in. Because of all the money there were lots of perks, like lunches, and parties that helped keep morale high.

Cons

The environment was very hectic and challenging because the demand was growing faster than the employee support.
