Pros

Boart Longyear is the best Drilling company out there for the mining industry. They have world-class Drillers and sell world-class products. The new CEO is a breath of fresh air and knows what the mining industry is all about.

Cons

The senior VPs in the company do not listen to those beneath them. They have an agenda and will do whatever it takes to get it through. This creates a major separation between them and the rest of the company because many of them didn't come from a services industry and were not in mining before. BLY's former CEO drove the company to near bankruptcy as a result of him not understanding the cyclicality of the business.
