      Pros

      Diverse work opportunities: Boart Longyear is not so big that an engineer finds them self as the 1/2" hex head bolt specialist.

      Cons

      The minerals exploration industry is pretty depressed at the moment and Boart Longyear has had to reduce resource levels accordingly so we have lost some good experienced people. Here's hoping things turn around soon.
