Pros
Decent hourly wage. Camaraderie with coworkers- mostly about the cons of this place.
Cons
We all signed on with promises of a better work environment than what is typical in vet med. Ladies. Every month something that was promised was taken away. We were promised a Comm. center- “the phone won’t ring in clinic”, wrong- that was taken away. We can leave on time (unless the last appointment running late), bc they had cleaners!!! Wrong- that was taken away- but they blocked off the last appointment- urgent care only- until they took that away too. I signed on for the 1wknd/mo incentive, nope- at minimum it was every other weekend. We were promised an appropriate staffing ratio- nope, barely staffed with call outs all the time. No one wanted to be there, but the hourly rate is what kept most people there/are keeping people there. At all hospitals, from MDs to lead nurses, nurses, VAs, care coordinators- everyone has the same story. Clearly this isn’t just a handful of disgruntled employees. They keep toxic people around that know how to “play the game”. Management is spread thin, and it shows. They aren’t in clinic, and if they are- they are behind computers or in exam rooms with the door closed. Also- if you look up employment reviews- you’ll notice a bunch of positives in Dec.- employees were paid to leave positive reviews for the company. If that doesn’t tell you what you need to know…..
