Executive Leadership Team is Awful

Pros

Coworkers are smart, talented, amazing people

Cons

Executive Leadership Team decided to lay off 10% of the workforce with 4 minutes notice. Lots of nonsense corporate speak and meaningless buzzwords from executives but they do not care one bit about the workers. CEO is a wannabe Elon Musk. Get a clue: no one likes Elon. Oh yeah, they’re planning some corporate retreat for the top 50 executives after laying off 140 people. Gross.

Pros

Pay is competitive for the industry, benefits are good, moral was pretty high before the layoffs.

Cons

Poor leadership and zero job security. If there was a mold for white male tech CEOs Scott Brighton could have come straight out of it. Everything about that man is as generic and mediocre as it gets. He has no original or compelling leadership ideas and was seemingly only appointed to cut costs. The leadership team also lied constantly told us that no new layoffs were planned after the initial round early in the year but then let 20 percent of the company go right before the holidays.

Too Much Uncertainly and Unnecessary Change

Pros

The pros would be the folks you work with. That's about it. Every week, you never know who will be the next to go, whether that's voluntarily or involuntarily.

Cons

-Layoffs each week. -No transparency with senior leadership. -You'll get told the company is doing great, making the changes that need to be made, and doing so much better than before. But if you read between the lines on these meetings, there's major concern about the financial stability and future of this company, still one year later, they tried to hide. -Many of the senior leadership was brought on by the current CEO after he kicked out the leaders who had been there. It went downhill so fast. -Reading the CEOs blogs each week.
