Disarray, power struggles, and greed

Pros

Besides the exec team, employees across many departments are great. Smart, hardworking, and willingness to help. The tool is great and makes it easy to sell. Office environment is relaxed and casual.

Cons

Company has been in disarray after the recent round of funding. Struggling hard to meet goals and hiring qualified individuals. Deals are slower to come by and reliant on big whales. Office culture is poor. Passive aggressive leadership. Micromanage culture. Benefits are not great. No equity, no 401k match, few holidays. 20 PTO days is ok I guess? That includes sick, personal. Execs all trying to get their bonus and commission and chopping at each other. Employee turnover is high. Rule by fear is real in this company.

Pros

Office location is ok. Some flexibility in working hours and some smart talented and friendly colleagues. The product fits a purpose - to a certain extend.

Cons

From the first week of employment it went downhill. There is a very clear and obvious misunderstanding and miscommunication from management to employees that leads to an extreme never before seen level of micromanagement. They hire talented smart and autonomous people, and micromanage every single move. Middle management is immature and irresponsible and will always point their finger at someone else. Misogynistic culture at its best. Management should be replaced alongside the CEO who is only around for drinks and pretending to be Steve Jobs. Think twice if you think of joining.
