Such a shame

Pros

Some really talented people. Pay is ok and office locations good.

Cons

This business could be so good. Sadly the CEO has a cabal of senior leadership which he trusts but some of them just shouldn’t be in the role. Great examples of people who are good at a role but that doesn’t automatically make them good leaders. Unfortunately as a result of this lack of capability the leadership team excel at micro-management and very little else. For a business with so few staff the level of politics is crazy.

Failed to live up to its reputation

Pros

- Wicked offices with scads of perks (coffee, occasionally food, top-notch hardware, etc.) - A few thought-provoking innovations and strokes of genius (mostly in regards to log file and content analysis) within the platform - Fun and clever coworkers - Big company events

Cons

- Passive-aggressive / conceited leadership - Success depends on your ability to soft-soap other team members - Wages below the average and no raises - Lack of communication - No career progression

Employee career progression is important to us; indeed, in 2019, 75% of employees with 6+ months in the job received a pay raise and one-third have been promoted.
