Pros

-PTO -some residents can be great - learn about the real estate industry

Cons

-you will work every weekend -you will be disgraded by some residents These are my personal experiences at Bozzuto .... not many minority property/assistant property managers. A direct quote from upper management “Black women are unrelatable” They also paid my new colleague more then me even though I had more experience in real estate including a license and had been with the company longer. Watch your bonuses like a hawk. If you don’t be prepared for mistakes/stealing by your manager. Also HR is a waste of time so don’t bother with them. I finally quit after over 2 years. The company culture was the worse and diversity is terrible. There is lack of mobility abdomen growth.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I take your feedback very seriously. As an African American woman and someone who has grown in the organization over the past decade, I can say with conviction that women of color are not only "relatable" but wanted and needed throughout the organization and at every level of leadership. Our commitment to this has most recently been acknowledged by CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion and our designation as a Top Workplace for Female Executives by the National Association of Female Executives. Despite this, there is always room for improvement, and as a Bozzuto leader and Partner, I would like the opportunity to better understand what gets in the way of our diversity and inclusion goals. Furthermore, I’d like to also identify any other areas of improvement as we want every team member to benefit from an extraordinary experience working with us. Please consider this an invitation to reach out to me directly to discuss your experience. We can't affect change if we don't talk about it. Stephanie Williams

Pros

-The company is growing and more opportunities are becoming available. The base salary is competitive with the industry standards. -Some of my co workers have become my family. -In my experience, your manager can either make or break your experience. -You are never bored and time goes by fast. -Decent PTO program. -Company values are excellent and Bozzuto has a great reputation in the industry.

Cons

-Better bonus commission -Horrible work/life balance. You are expected to answer phone calls and texts on your days off. -Cliquish -Promotions are usually pre picked and based on favoritism, not who deserves it. Most of the time managers know who will be selected for promotions before the job is even posted. I don't think this is fair at all. -Constant unnecessary changes on site. The property managers like to take credit for all the success and hard work the sales and marketing associates do. It is pretty common for managers to throw you under the bus in order to save themselves. They will blame you for everything in order not to look bad in front of residents and their regional. - Stressful and long hours. In my opinion, pay is not enough for the amount of work you have to do. You will almost always stay after hours and will never get paid overtime. Good luck asking your manager for OT, they will probably laugh in your face. -I find it interesting that is nearly impossible to find the HR number to make a formal complaint. Why is that?
