Amenities for residents are nice

I worked in Warren at a lease up property. Corporate office micromanages which was tedious. What was worse was how unprofessional the manager and staff was. All they did was bash corporate, talk to residents about other residents, and gossip about other employees. I was there for three weeks. I checked in on my performance every week and three days prior to me being fired for “not being a good fit” I was told I was doing great. All the manager did was talk about herself all day long and load her work on to her fellow employees. Also witnessed upper management assign Glassdoor reviews to employees.

Pros

Fast paced work environment with room for growth! Awesome team environment and every day is different with something new to learn at any stage in the job.

Cons

Working weekends is required but Sunday is only a half day and they go by really quickly because they are typically the busiest days. Plus you get two days off during the week which is great for going shopping when the general public is at work.

1. Family Oriented: Understanding of appointments, family time/responsibilities, etc. 2. Upper Management Support: positive feedback, always willing to listen and act on recommended improvements. 3. Staff: professional, social and pleasant co-workers/friends, I enjoy the corporate culture that has been established. 4. Wages: wages support performance, dedication, employment history and longevity. 5. Quality: quality properties, rentals, overall company "branding". Overall, I enjoy the people I work with (staff, vendors, owners, managers, tenants, etc..) on a daily basis. A positive attitude, ability to adapt, hard work and dedication equal success and happiness!

Cons

This is not a con but more of a suggestion/consideration, a bonus program whether large or small to help to keep staff motivated, goal driven and supports company deadlines and priorities in a positive manner.
