Needs room for improvement in some management team members

Pros

Some of the Project Managers will share thier responsibilities with you so that you can learn more about the management part of the construction field. There are great people in the company to work with and are willing to go outside thier comfort zone to help you.

Cons

unless you are a favorite, you will never excel within the company. I have seen employees being bullied by other employees and excuses were made or excuses were given for them by thier member of management. One person will be let go so that another can stay (that is a favorite). Have had member of mangement take credit for something that was suggested by another (but than again, this is typical for most companies). Some members of mangement, I beleive, are threatened by employees that may know something they do not. It's a shame because one day this may become the fall of the company (because of some of the members in thier supervisory poistions). Also, there is no room for promotion for certain poistions in the company unless you are a favorite.

Pros

They pay good but you had better agree to what you want the day of hire.

Cons

You will work on Sundays and your supervisor is likely to be an egotistical jerk.

Pros

- Understandable management, understand obligations outside of work. - Treat their employees very well, especially interns. - The internship program is very intensive and allows you to learn a lot in a short amount of time. - The company is known for good training and teaching, which looks great on a resume.

Cons

- you have to choose between either doing field work (superintendent route) or the office route (project manager route). This may only be a con for some people, this structure makes it a lot easier to get promoted and rise within the company but if your looking for both extensive field and office experience it may not be for you.
