We can appreciate that working in customer service can certainly be stressful and our Customer Care associates must have work-life harmony to be successful and avoid burnout. We compensate our associates and provide excellent benefits to support our associates so they can do their job while also living their best life.

Working here in CS wasn’t too bad. I’ve had MUCH worse experiences in CS. This one was actually good.

Cons

CS is just not something anyone can do long-term.

Pros

Their HR team and managers are top-notch. I always felt supported and knew that I had my company on my side on the occasions when I dealt with unhappy customers.

Cons

Back to my first point: unhappy customers. Unfortunately, you’re going to be dealing with them so long as you’re in any sort of client-facing role. May as well learn how to redirect their negative energy.

Handling negative energy is a really good way to say it -- to be successful in a customer-facing role you have to be tactful and graceful as you attempt to understand the customer's needs.
