      Pros

      Helping make a difference for T1D families

      Cons

      This was one of the worst companies I have ever worked at. Right from the top, the company valued the wrong thing, longevity over skill, appearances over action. It was a toxic, poorly run terrible place to work and the best decision ever made to leave there.

      Flexible working conditions, vacation is decent. Not the worst pay (still below average)

      Cons

      No room for professional growth, if you want to use your brain don't bother going to work here. Its run by a series of leadership professionals who have failed up (essentially those that couldn't hack it at their current level but somehow got hired into positions way out of their league)

      Imploding mess.

      The mission. The families. The cause.

      Cons

      Everything else. Its a mess of an organization that doesn't have strong enough leadership or an innovative vision for the future. They are still working like they did 40 years ago and there is no sign that anyone on the leadership team is going to change this. The board is delusional to think that the CEO is going to help and the employees are taking advantage of their ignorance. Middle management is often abused and the staff do whatever they want with no accountability. Its a culture of turmoil and you'd be cautioned to stay clear.
