Pros

Great mission and volunteers, line staff are very committed to working hard.

Cons

No longevity except for a chosen few. Every time there is a revenue decline, the CEO and execs get rid of talented, hard working staff. They expect the world but won't admit their walk event model is outdated, CRM systems are not used properly, and they have revenue generation expectations that can only lead to complete burnout of line staff.

Pros

non-profit. good cause. decent pay for me, but not for everyone

Cons

company has 7 (passion, innovation, collaboration, respect, trust, appreciation, and results orientated) values but does not adhere to majority of them. departments do not work well together. people do not know what others do even within departments. management does not do a good job of showing appreciation. there is no innovation here with ideas being shut down or new ideas taking too long to implement. people lack respect. very heavy e-mail company. lack of company culture in main office. not an environment that can cultivate new talent/high turnover. poor management in all levels. caliber of people's work is poor.

Pros

Many paid holidays, great benefits, time off during the week when you work weekends, great cause

Cons

"We've always done it this way" type of attitude, low pay, inflexible hours (very strict on the 9-5 schedule), no lunch break, upper management that has not worked in the field and doesn't really understand how things work, declining revenue stream, unwillingness to look towards new events or other revenue avenues. They never actually train you, they just show you a bunch of tutorial videos then expect you to know how to do everything.
