      Horrible Recruiting / Interview Experience

      Pros

      I haven't actually worked for JDRF . I had a horrific experience with the recruiter that contacted me. Flaked on interviews, zero follow up on emails. Not a great way to entice a potential employee. The engagement with this recruiter was unprofessional, and put a very negative shadow over the organiation.

      Cons

      Horrible HR experience, make sure your recruiters are trained properly in follow up and communications.

      High stress, good group of supporters

      Pros

      Will meet good peoples affiliated with type 1 diabetes; fundraising and education is for a good cause. Good benefits. Better cultural values than in past.

      Cons

      Stress on staff toward performance with not enough staffing support. Pay not aligned with expectations. Good benefits but out of pocket health costs, including monthly premiums, rising. Performance review process definitely needs an overhaul. Salaries not keeping pace with economic realities.
