      Potential to make a difference in the community if you work at an office that is focused on that. Potentially safe environment for fellow T1Ds

      Cons

      Tiny office w >5 employees More concerned with money than the community and having a positive impact in people’s lives Cut pay after 6 months of working to add the opportunity of “overtime” but also cut hours to 35/week to guarantee that no overtime would be reached

      Great Mission but a Bad Corporate Culture

      The Mission, The Field Staff, The Field Volunteers and The Research Program are all Super

      Cons

      The headquarters in New York City could not get its act together. A lot of petty and insecure people who cared more about their titles than the people who actually did the work. All the good people I dealt with at Headquarters were forced out or quickly discovered it was not a nice place to work and got out.

      Poor management. Poorer communication. Be prepared to spin your wheels and waste unnecessary time, because information isn't shared efficiently.
