Pros

Brewdog is a behemoth of a company to work for. As a career cook i have never had a company offer me paid time off, health insurance, 4o1k, or profit sharing. Brewdog offers all these things while providing a great atmosphere with some of the best people to work with in the service industry.

Cons

The problems with brewdog are they use the word invest to potential investors when in all reality it is crowd funding and there is 0 return on your "investment". Also if you are a salary manager you can expect to work far past 40 hours a week with little to no compensation for your time leaving your social/work life a absolute wreck.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We are proud to be able to offer all our staff a range of benefits and we will definitely continue to do so. We know that at times work/life balance can be hard, but if at any stage our staff feels that the working hours becomes too much we recommend they speak with their line manager or anyone from the people team. Cheers!

Pros

- safe-ish job in a growing business - CBS certification

Cons

- false marketing - lots of talk, no actual walk - ig-norance of big problems that would be easy to fix - unsifficient and defect work tools across the place - terrible communication with management - big lies about margins - pressure to overperform, sickwork and doubleshifts There is much more. Hard to tell if it just the current Management or Brewdog itself. Everyone I saw was very excited to start at BD just to leave burned out, tired and disliking the company. Shame.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We are really sorry to hear that working for BrewDog hasn’t been what you had hoped it would be, hopefully over the course of the coming year your experience will improve. We understand that working at BrewDog can be hard and isn’t always for everyone. We know that as a business we have incredibly high expectations but it is the reason we have been as successful as we are, we are uncompromising and this isn’t going to change. We are aware that at points our staff can feel pressure in there jobs but over recent years we have put support mechanisms in place to help staff cope with the pressure. We know that in previous years we may not have had the right communication paths in place but we have worked extremely hard to ensure that we are communicating clearly with staff. We hope that we can continue to improve on the issues you have flagged here but any other issues you would like to discuss please speak with a member of the people team.
