A Company With A Few Issues

Pros

- Some decent employee engagement activities, some were rather fun to participate - New office building, excellent desk and equipment

Cons

I'm writing this from the perspective of a corporate headquarter employee. Several other subsidies of BrightSpring (Homecare, Community Living, etc.) I can't necessarily speak for. - There was quite a bit of disfunction from my experience. Very few corporate meetings to let the employees truly know what is going on in the company. - Lots of corporate turnover. I recall several 'purges' of management leaders. - Huge raises for upper management. You will not receive a raise or cost-of-living increase if you are below a management level. - This is strictly my experience but I noticed a general sense of 'dread' among co-workers. Huge workloads but little investment in additional help and (as mentioned above) no additional pay or reward for additional hours needed to manage your work. This is a company that does some great work (in-home nursing, many additional in-home health categories) but make no mistake about it.. this is a for-profit company and is treated as such. Employee welfare is not at the forefront of the executives mind, but rather they embrace a "churn 'em and burn 'em", all money goes to the top, none for the other employees culture. If you're weighing other job offers to one from BrightSpring, I strongly suggest considering the general employee experience before making a decision. I would rank BrightSpring near the bottom in this category compared to the other companies I've worked for.

Pros

SALARY, BENEFITS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS OFF.

Cons

Rescare in Alabama has racist employees that is employed. The higher manager is racist and allow the employees to harass and bullied people of different ethical background. The company is a non discrimation company, so what the higher manager and managers do is hire people of different races only to employ them a certain time period and at will can fired them. They continue this cycle over and over.
