Good people, easy work environment...

Pros

You really get a sense that your work is making a difference in the community; co-workers are very compassionate and empathetic people; the Executive Director is wonderful to work with.

Cons

Money is very limited, and there are no raises as such. Neighborhood is sketchy.

Working with families, educating, assisting, referring to services they need to strengthen and insure a healthy future. You get what you put out, be supportive of team members and other program staff, participating in agency functions and activities, get involve with community activities, be friendly, leaving work at work and personal problems at home. When in need of help ask and offer your help if you can, be thoughtful and caring.

Cons

We have annual performance review, however, no cost of living raises.
