Great benefits. Vacation, personal days, one paid volunteer day. Stock options and RRSP options. New group benefits are selected by the employee.

Cons

No chance to advance unless you have a University Degree it doesn't matter what the degree is as long as you have it you will be placed somewhere in management. Even if you previously owned your own brokerage. Company demands that you phone clients and not send letters so there is no proof of what you recommended. Clients can no longer come to the office to pay cash for their direct bill policies. They must send cheques or use the internet.etc...

Pros

Fun company, great environment. Education is paid for by the company and work around a scheduled that works for you. Targets are attainable if you know how to do your job correctly and manage your time.

Cons

A unnecessarily high turnover rate. New hires need to be eased into things a lot more easily in order to reach their full potential.

MAYBE if you are young and brand new to insurance, it MIGHT be ok to take a job with Brokerlink...but just for some training and experience and then I suggest moving on to something better.

Cons

Inexperienced, Ignorant, Incompetent Management, Poor Office Moral, High Staff Turnover (most employees are constantly searching for other employment, myself included!) Unmanageable Workloads, Below Average Pay.
