Pros
- West Edmonton, AB location is accessible. - Good hours. - O.K Benefits. - Decent people.
Cons
- Micromanagement - Terrible pay compared to other companies - Bad, unqualified, management team that lacks people skills - Zero flexibility (Got written up for calling in sick one day given that I had provided a doctor's note) - Call center environment (small cubicles, small minded individuals, you don't interact with clients or people) - Old, cold, under-maintained, office. Not an inviting place to work at. - Training approach not tailored for different individuals. - Wrong trainers. - No room for career advancement. At the office I worked on the west side of Edmonton, it is run by young, unqualified girls that only got to be managers because their fathers or family members are high up in the company. (Not trying to be sexist, but they were seriously all females). - Bad/Unqualified HR management team - They care more about their office decorations than their employees. - Can't possibly breathe, go to washroom, drink water, check time on your phone without having someone breathing down your neck. - Scripts, oh my god, the scripts.. If you don't believe me, give brokerlink a call and have a listen to their long scripts. There is just a script for everything that you must read. You can't possibly not sound like a robot.
