Cons
(ED review)- Nurses often feel abused and unheard by management. From poor inflexible scheduling, unapproved vacation/personal/holiday time, to having no say in policy or department changes. Nurses leave left and right and management ignores the cause of this, which is simply, nurses are unhappy there and feel mistreated by management. ED will soon be made up of majority of new grad nurses as many seasoned nurses leave out of frustration. New grads beware, if you're going back to school and want to take advantage of the 100% tuition reimbursement, do so, but after that I advise seeking employment elsewhere. Find a place where you are actually encouraged to grow and learn. Management is petty against staff and will target you if you try to rock their boat.
