Great people: the staff at Brown Advisory is made up of motivated, intelligent individuals. The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

The company is lean on personnel, which may be great for the bottom line, but it is not good for a work/life balance. You can work 70 , 80 or more hours a week, come in on weekends and still be swamped. The pay is not great. Bonuses are loose-y goose-y -- unless you are in the upper tier.

Cons

Horrible coworkers and unsafe work environment. Politics are everywhere but never seen anything like this where they plant stuff into your cube and claim you took it. This is dirty to another level. Upper management supports horrible culture for tech and HR and operational finance. One of the most unprofessional work places I’ve ever worked at, people have rage attacks without any provocation. Different rules for different people from different backgrounds. Deceptive about hiring as well. Do not tell you about toxic work culture when hiring. Can’t say much about equity staff, they seemed to be quite normal and sophisticated but I didn’t have the opportunity to work with them.
