Wonderful company but the managers are playing for themselves!

BrowserStack is legitimately an awesome place to work! You have unlimited time off (depends on manager’s mood tbh for long term leaves), remote first policy, and at least in sales we have not been asked to do overtime and its not even encouraged. The big picture or the goal of the company is truly motivating. They value their employees and customers alike.

Cons

It feels like the managers have been promoted too soon, and they do not realise how important a good manager is for the well being of an individual working under their leadership. Often (and this is across the entirety of sales function at BStack) the managers are deeply concerned about saving their own face, and delivering their individual targets (even at the expense of their subordinates). If only the managers can see that we are a team working for the same goal, not hold petty grudges against their own team, and acknowledge where they have lacked could be a turning point.
