Was a great place to work at back in 2018 before everything started to change. Fun people to work with, beer Fridays, birthday gifts, new employees lunches ect

Cons

Everything changed when we sold our souls to Sony, those people that were at Bungie from the beginning got a huge payout some even upwards of 20+ million while others less than 100k. After the sellout everything started to change, leadership cares less about the employees and things slowly started to disappear like our birthday gifts and all the cool perks we use to get are a distant memory at this point. Bungie was a great company when the employees were around 800 people but the massive growth and the sellout has left Bungie feeling corporate and no longer like a family.

Pros

Company paid fair wages, lots of encouragement for employees to develop new skills through free classes offered by the company, encouragement to connect with new employees through services like the New Hire lunch program (though it may no longer exist, I'm not sure)

Cons

Upper management can come across as tone deaf (comparing game development to being at war is one that still sticks out to me), poor communication regarding layoffs and mergers with other companies, no room for growth in certain departments
