Pros

company vehicle, maintenance, fuel and company phone. Lots of drivetime to sites. Sometimes a bit of downtime in between jobs. fringe benefits

Cons

work life balance, recent policy changes have made holidays a regular scheduled workday. Salary inversion, new hires earn more than current employees. Training is all amateur video bases. No room for advancement.

Pros

You will get entry level experience. (Trial by fire)

Cons

You'll be undervalued, underpaid, overworked and mocked by upper management whenever you bring up a non-adressed issue with a new development /procedure. You can go 3 years with 14 total days off and absolutely no one in upper management notices enough to increase your salary.

Pros

You will work on everything. Air compressors, ATM's, safes, cash recyclers, food service kiosks, autonomous robots, you name it. Burroughs services everything, even when they know nothing about it.

Cons

I was a Field Service Tech, and went from home to my first call every day. No office. In three years, no raises and they recently cut my pay by 10%. I was paid "door to door" when hired, now I have my first and last 30 minutes "unpaid commute time," i.e. I'm working 45 hours for 40 hours of pay.
