It's VERY difficult to move up at Burton unless you work at the HQ location in VT. Most of your hard work will be attributed to someone else, and your efforts will unnoticed. Hours of your day will be spent putting out fires that other people have created instead of improving your team, or giving staff the extra time and training that they NEED. The marketing teams have free reign over everything, and tend to pull resources from other teams at will... People tend to get pushed out if they don't share the same view, or aren't part of the clique.

Personal success at the company can be weather dependent. Salaries are low compared to what you'd get paid elsewhere, and the trade off is the fun work environment. Long term, this is not sustainable for keeping top talent. Long hours are the norm, travel is hefty depending on your role.
