Pros

There is never a day that you aren't needed to perform at a high level. Because of this, you're weaknesses are on full display and you have a choice everyday to be better. I've never worked at a company where I have so much opportunity to make an impact. They have done a pretty good job of getting talent in the building and you are working with some amazing people to help you in such a fast paced environment. The building is so unassuming from the outside, but once you walk-in it is fresh and alive with energy and an open unique layout. The growth and industry outlook really opens up a lot of leadership opportunities if you are capable and have the energy.

Cons

The pressure can be overwhelming if you don't know how to ask for help and plan ahead. One on one structure is up to you, need a more consistent method of feedback.

Pros

The culture that has been created is amazing. This is the type of company that you have read about in books and always wanted to be a part of. I have worked for larger corporations where people come to work and really don't care. This is not that kind of environment. Everyone cares about each other and the clients. You are challenged to learn, which is really satisfying to those of us who enjoy learning new things. The technology platform is easy to use and keeps getting better. The company is stable, profitable, and growing. It is nice to work for a company that is well respected in our industry. I love the people that I work with.

Cons

This is a growing company which is changing rapidly to provide new services (like ACA tracking), and meet client requests, etc. You have to be a student of the industry to really thrive. The busy time is around open enrollment season which is stressful anyway due to the changes that employers want to make. For some people, personal accountability is challenging; being a self-starter is necessary for success at Businessolver.

Pros

You won't be bored, and that's a guarantee. This is a fast-paced company FULL of opportunity. They work really hard to engage employees - making sure employees stay engaged in their work to make sure they care about delighting clients. Employees are expected to work hard, but are treated very well in return - spoiled with the catered meals and fully stocked kitchen, lots of fun activities, on-site gym, etc. This is somewhere that I feel like my work is really valued and that makes me excited about coming in day after day! The technology is great, which makes it easy to stand behind.

Cons

At times I've struggled with being overwhelmed - in a growing company where everyone strives for perfection, the pressure can get to you sometimes. The good news with regards to work-life balance is that YES, there are absolutely crazy busy times when you don't feel like you can catch up - but the benefits business is cyclical. You (for the most part) know when your super busy times will be and can mentally prepare!
