Pros

Choose your own hours/flexible schedule/split shifts/full or part time employment.

Cons

Poor communication, there is no follow up on questions and leaders are not educated in the product enough and often give wrong information to advocates which then gets them in trouble with QA. There is too much transparency as metrics are public and scores are shown to the entire team which creates very low morale and trust. There is a no tolerance policy for absences whether you are a gig employee or full time. Even if your entire neighborhood has an internet/power outage, you will receive an occurence for it and you will have to fight to use your sick time on days when you don't have a voice. No empathy what-so-ever and leadership uses scare tactics instead of praise. I'm honestly embarassed that I referred a former coworker and they got hired on here as they are now dealing with the same issues and having to look for work as well.

Pros

You might get lucky and be assigned to a good team- with a team lead that cares.

Cons

Annual raise- will not adjust or prorate based on tenure (if under a year). If you are not there a full year, you miss the entire raise. If you don't drink the kool-aid or acquiesce to the "personality" of the team you're on, it will be held against you. There is no value in experience, skill, or drive. If they decide they don't like you, they'll kick you to the curb. Company used to pride itself on empathy and transparency, but internally, there is none to be found. Company has a "global" team, so there is less opportunity for "onshore" work. Recent reorg included combining of roles- which was disastrous. Leadership depending on cross training while on the job, asking employees to do two jobs (sometimes 3 jobs) for same pay, C-Suite leadership is becoming less and less engaged with day to day function and climate of their employees.
