I want to address some of the comments in Reviews that I have read. First off I would like to state that I am a long-time employee who has ‘lasted’ all these years without being a butt kisser or part of the ‘clicks’. I am a long-time employee because I work hard, admit to my failures and work to improve and prevent repeating failures. I agree with the statement don’t get caught up in the office “politics”. This is not just an issue at C2. I have worked for several companies over the years and if you look for it or if it is very much ‘out there’ to see – you will find the office politics and your best bet is to just not jump into it. As for judging the employees and the owner – Everyone will have a different opinion of those they work for or with. While parts of each opinion may be agreed upon it does not mean that any one opinion is gospel. To base whether or not you want to work for a company on if the owner is ‘hard’ to work for, then maybe it is a good idea you don’t come on board with that negative attitude. Turnover rate is EXTREMELY HIGH. Yes, there is a Turnover rate that is high at C2. It is a very high stressed, time sensitive and deadline driven work place. If you are looking for a slow pace easy going job then C2 is not for you. If you value your work ethics and at the end of the day (no matter how ‘crazy’ it got) you are proud of the work you did for the companies ‘clients”, then come on board! Most positions within C2 are like riding a roller coaster… sometimes it is a nice slow chug to the top and/or the downward ride can be full of twists and turns at high speeds. If you enjoy multi-tasking and can shift gears (daily or hourly sometimes) than you will do fine at any position in this company. In reference to the statement that computers and emails are monitored that is true. This company works within a ‘business’ that is highly competitive. And restriction on employees computers and email are monitored. Sadly it is needed to ensure that our clients are kept confidential and that the way C2 performs it business is not compromised. In a statement posted as Advice to Management – What was written was, “Need a post it? Send in a request first. Need a notebook? Better send in that request. All office supplies and food items are locked away.” First not all supplies and/or food is locked away during business hours. In order to keep an accurate account of supplies, i.e. post-it and notebooks, there needs to be a way to track usage so supplies can be restocked. Requests for supplies that are available via the request are normally provided same day or within an hour to the requestee. Want to work independently? Don’t come to C2 if you can't be a team player. No one person ‘does it all’ at C2. It is a combination of multiple departments working together to best serve our clients and their employees. To the review titled “Not a place to build a Career”. Studies show that the idea of a “Career” has been dying a slow death over the years. This day and age a job is what is sought after. A job that that you can perform, as well as learn and improve. It provides a pay that ensure you can live within your means. Most jobs are what careers use to be. Time management and Scheduled work hours and lunch breaks have been criticized. Sorry I have to put it out there…. REALLY? C2 has employees with their clients all over the WORLD! Core hours are set and each employee works those hours (and more if needed). There needs to be someone available in each department during those core hours to be available to assist clients and employees from everywhere. Lunch is divided into two one hour lunch breaks. Each department or team within a department divides the employees up into one of those hours to ensure that there is coverage for the department to assist the needs of clients and employees. Even though "extras" like the whole company going to an opening of a movie, bowling, baseball and football games, in house 'parties' and other events are a great bonus for working at C2 is should not be the reason you apply. Activities outside of the office space normally permit the employees to include their families and these have been a great success! BTW I was not forced or coerced to write this review. I have in the past stirred friends and family to apply.
