Pros

It is hard to look at the "pros" sections of many of the reviews on here and not recognize that they are total BS and not at all helpful. I do not believe that the all of the negative reviews with 10x more helpful ratings are more accurate so much as they are more honest. Brutally honest reviews or over the top positive reviews on just about anything more common than neutral or trending-positive honest reviews. And let's be honest - who on earth is over the top positive about their jobs? So, let's be honest. C3 AI is not perfect. It has a lot of growing to do in how the company respects and acknowledges the value of of its employees, as well as how it supports the personal and career goals of its employees. It has a lot of growing to do in the areas of fairness, favoritism, diversity, work-life balance, burnout, morale, and top-down ~everything~. It has lot of growing to do in having enough of a workforce so that employees are still busy and working hard but do not have to work long nights every night and work through every-other weekend. All in all, I would love to see C3 AI be more flexible, open to change for the better, willing to prioritize training and leaning as much as it does resumes and skillsets, and humble when it comes to hearing out ideas that do not come from the top. All of that said, C3 AI is a powerhouse of intelligent, hardworking, and actually remarkably friendly people. We spend every single day working through our failures, solving previously unsolvable problems (to cliche?), and planning for future ways to change the world. We have impact and that impact is only going to grow. Along the way, yes, we are asked to work from the office if possible in a time when many want more flexibility regardless of need (yes, it would be neat to see C3 compromise a bit on that front), but in turn we get to enjoy fantastic lunches, a safe office environment, an on campus gym and membership, the coolest colleagues, and an occasional happy hour which helps toss in a hint of fun camaraderie after long work-intensive weeks. Do not listen to the "C3 is perfect!" reviews. It has a lot of growing to do. But it is on its way to greatness thanks to the driven, genius, kind, and committed people keeping the machine running.

Pros

Great office view and gym

Cons

Stay away from this toxic culture company. NO WLB, NO appreciation from the management. Fire employee at will for "Performance Issue." at any time. Not an AI company, with NO workable AI products, just an IT consulting firm with low growth and a MEME stock. Stay away for your career and mental health.

Pros

Competitive pay, smart colleagues, and interesting work.

Cons

Too numerous to detail them all. Non-existent work-life balance; the CEO would prefer people who want to sleep under their desk rather than go home at the end of the day. No remote work allowed. During the pandemic shutdown, every hour of every day had to be accounted for, particularly during remote working. Arm-twisting to bring people back into the office began about four months into the pandemic. Positive Covid test results were not shared with adjacent workers, who would then take the virus home to their families. As people ultimately returned to the workplace, those who chose to mask were ridiculed, both openly and subtly. "Motivation" in the workplace was based on fear of being fired, which was done frequently and -- as far as the rest of each team could tell -- arbitrarily.
