Pros

Great product and potential to be great company if culture is changed

Cons

Certain members of the senior management team are immature and inexperienced leaders. They don't have the leadership skills and the emotional intelligence required to make them successful in their roles and this is the biggest challenge to C3’s growth. These individuals may be intelligent but the damage they cause is more than any benefit they bring to the company. Employee attrition and several lost deals can be traced back to these individuals as employees and clients perceive them as tactless and egotistical. Their leadership immaturity is displayed in their lack of control over their impulses, stubbornness, shouting at people they disagree with and showing no professional respect for colleagues. They promote culture of fear, submission and greed rather than respect, growth and cooperation and because of this retention of other senior leaders and talented individuals is a serious issue as no one wants to work with them. If you doubt this review, please look at the reviews with the most helpful votes – they are all 1 star reviews as people are terrified of writing new negative comments fearing a witch hunt. Or look on LinkedIn and see how many senior employees have lasted more than 18 months in this company.

Horrible Place to Work

Pros

Free lunch, decent snack selection, and paid membership to a guy in the office park

Cons

I can't even begin to explain how terrible of a place this is. I had some of my lowest moments in life at this place because of the managers there. Literally no work life balance. There is a culture of fear and intimidation in the company. You don't have any say what so ever on what to work on.. have to say yes to everything the CEO. You have to work every weekend and will be called out if you are not working over the weekend. There is a weird culture around people thinking that someone who comes early and stays the latest are the most productive and contributing the most to the company. I remember being called out once for not looking stressed out enough. The company also on regular basis hosts these events to hand out gifts for writing good reviews of the company on glassdoor. Please please do yourself a favour and stay away form this place.. for your mental and physical health.

C3 AI Response

We understand that you had a negative experience, that we regret. However, it is unfair for you to post a review with several factual inaccuracies. The statement that employees have to work every weekend is absurd. Employees are regularly evaluated upon their accomplishments and contributions, not based upon the time they arrive or leave the office. No employee has ever received a bonus or gift card in consideration for writing a positive Glassdoor review. C3 IoT employees work hard, because we are inspired by the work we do and the people with whom we work.

Pros

- Genuinely amazing technology and vision for the future of an end-to-end Enterprise AI ecosystem. - Fast-paced, exciting work if you're interested in AI and ML. Lots of ownership and opportunities to build your skillset. - Wicked smart and talented engineering and data science teams. - Competitive TC package - Beautiful campus and great selection of catered lunch everyday - Incentives for employees completing certain Coursera courses fosters a culture of constant self-learning

Cons

- As countless other reviews have stated: no WFH policy as of June 2021 in the midst of: 1) a global pandemic with at least four positive cases detected in the office (management likes to frame this as “only a few cases” but that number could have been 0 if we had a remote policy) and 2) countless other companies worldwide opening up flexible work options. - Pervasive toxic culture of bragging about overworking - High employee turnover rate/retention issues and difficulty hiring talent due to the above items
