Great benefits working as a state employee

Cons

Huge lack of respect for faculty; don't value employees; there is no support; very negative, toxic work environment; you are set up for failure; zero work-life balance with the expectation to work 24/7 for little pay. I don't have anything nice to say about my experience. My mental and physical health suffered.

they don't care about their employees, wont pay a living wage, and the entire campus work culture is highly toxic
