Pros

Good entry level experience to complex diagnosis.

Cons

High stress job with little opportunity for upward mobility. Behavioral based company though clients served would benefit more from mental health services over short-term behavioral interventions. High burnout rate.

Only care about upper management

Pros

Quarterly Bonuses, wellness days, flexible

Cons

Honestly, working at CBEM during COVID was awful. Upper management doesn’t care about any of the CIS’s health or safety. It seems really unfair that they are the ones making all the decisions and protocols for CISs in the field, when they get to work from home. Office politics are horrible here. The supervisors are not supportive, and our RD would challenge every concern we brought to the table. They basically said, if you have a problem, you can leave. They don’t care about keeping employees happy here, and the turnover rate is very high. CISs are overworked and expected to have a bigger caseload when you have a small team, but you don’t get paid more or shown any appreciation for taking on extra clients. The pay really isn’t that great either.
