no advancement opportunities, you feel like a labor worker with too much to do everyday but no promotion regardless how much you've done no training program in place

Senior management is very weak. Development funding is skinny as company is in maintenance mode Marketing is skinny and poor

Pros

Good industry to work in. CDC Software has a reasonably strong balance sheet, which is not always the case for technology companies, so that part of job risk is reduced.

Cons

Promotions are often given to those with political skills while those with true ability are often passed over. Not an environment to work in if you think ability and hard work should trump politics.
