      CDW.... A great company to work for!!

      Pros

      You get a great start in IT even if you don't have IT experience. You'll learn a lot about technical solutions, hardware and software. A great company to work for if you are a new graduate. You don't make a lot of money in the beginning but if you stay for a while, there is a possibilty of making a six-figure income as an account manager. Some of the Account Managers here are happy and some are not. It all depends on if you are successful with

      Cons

      You don't make a lot of money your first year on the job. Benefits a wonderful. You get discounts on anything they sell. You get anything for 1 percent over what CDW paid for it. They have doughnuts, fruit, cereal bars and bagels every Tuesday and Thursday.

      Long hours, impossible technical questions, fellow employees who are as clueless as you, and tattle tale clock programs that are inaccurate. .....lllj jjhh.. hhhhj. hjhh.

      Pros

      Exposed to several different types of technologies. Series of on the job training. Top vendors host several events each year to increase your knowledge base. I'd estimate at least one or two trainings a month that are worthwhile.

      Cons

      Pay is extremely low and non competitive until you reach year 3 to 4. CDW is a very old and traditional company that uses older methods of acquiring business.
