Certain partners and the directors are team oriented. A well established client base in the Boston area. Staff are able seek different ways to contribute to the firm and its clients.

Cons

Business development is top priority for the firm, and a large contributor in the promotion to partner.

Great transition for my career - the positive stories I heard prior to working here from existing CFGI employees have worked out to be spot on and are resonating for me now that I'm with CFGI myself. - Moving out of audit has been life changing - The nature of the work I'm involved in is exhilarating - I'm surrounded by super smart people(I'm reunited with many of my former friends in big 4) - I'm exposed to a variety of different projects within a client base of attractive companies - My skill set is diversified - There is a special level of excitement about real expansion and real growth Most importantly you have a voice here! Highly recommended to at least have a conversation with the team here if your contemplating your next career move from a Big 4 firm. I made the right move at a time where I had many options. The decision to work for CFGI has been a win for both my current and future career goals.

Cons

Initially the difference in feel from big 4 is a shock as it is very different, but the adjustment is a great one for your work/life balance.
