Pros

Great management and very low turnover. There are many employees who have been with the company for over 10 years. There are also lots of training opportunities. Managements goal is to help you succeed. Commission payouts increase with production over time. Income potential is unlimited. It all depends on you! CFS recently became an ESOP. That means everyone owns a piece of the company.

Cons

Very decentralized. It makes a mid size company feel small at times, but there are national training events and sales incentive trips that make up for that.

Pros

CFS has the best training in the industry. The leaders will hold your hand until you show you don't need it. The training continues to ensure your success. Along with training one week in Boston, the company has ongoing teleconference training involving many of the company's top producers. The Regionals and the VPs are always available to give advice. The company became an ESOP in 2014. This is a huge plus for the employees.

Cons

This business isn't for everyone. The staffing business isn't easy. If you trust the way CFS does business, you can be successful.

Pros

The hands-on training that CFS gives each and every single employee is incomparable. It is rare that the VP of a company directly trains each new member of the company for an entire week, but I am so thankful that CFS is one of those unique companies! Not only that, but some of the nation's top recruiters either work for or have worked for CFS. There is no doubt that you will learn from the best. I definitely felt set you up for success. Additionally, CFS is well known and respected in most major metros. You are walking into an office with a great reputation and tenured team members that the industry trusts.

Cons

It's a boutique firm, so the market share isn't as in-depth as some of the majors (RHI, etc). However, I wouldn't want to work for a major - the cultures are vastly different.

Pros

CFS is a great company to work for! There is a very strong training program when you start and continuing development throughout the year. Great work/life balance. The executive management team is truly invested in the growth of the company and the well being of the employees. There is open access to all levels of management, you don't often hear of a company where you can talk to the President of the company anytime.

Cons

Some micromanagement at a local level, but it is not anything that isn't tolerable. PTO time could be better, but again it isn't bad by any means.

Pros

fun people all sharing a common goal. great teamwork and camaraderie between the internal groups. competitive payouts compared to other agencies. attainable goals. plenty of training and development with opportunity to learn from industry experts locally and nationally. open door policy with senior management. employee owned company!

Cons

the only thing would be the PTO policy. I would separate sick time from vacation and increase the overall time off, especially for commission employees

Pros

I am completing 4 years in recruiting, 3 of which have been at Creative Financial Staffing. CFS is the best and only organization that I would recommend working in A&F recruiting. The Company provides great training and on-going support in a small entrepreneurial office environment that has access to large company resources. I have watched people both succeed and fail at CFS and find it unfortunate that those who have failed blame the company and not their own efforts (or lack thereof). A sales-driven environment isn't for everyone. CFS has a fairly flat organization structure so generally there isn't a "sit on top of you every minute of every day" management style as with other recruiting firms. I believe this is a good thing but some people need to be micro-managed to be successful and in that case, CFS may not be for you.

Cons

It's not perfect but as close as you can get for an outstanding recruiting firm known for its quality brand and long tenure of employees.

Pros

This is a job I actually look forward to coming to every day. It's not a massive company which I like because it gives the company a more personable, family-like feel to it. The company really cares for it's employees and will do what they can to make sure you have all the resources you need to succeed. I work with a really great team that's very supportive, and my manager is there when I need them. We also get to go on yearly sales training trips, and if you meet your yearly goal you get an all expense paid vacation (went to Cancun this year!) Most the people in my office have been with CFS for at least 5 years, so they know the market and are a great resource/mentor for the industry which is helpful. I've even been able to reach out to people in other offices and they're more than willing to share their insight.

Cons

Like with any commission based job, the pay is awesome when you have a good month, but the off months can be frustrating.
