      Challenging Work, Great Culture, Fun People

      Pros

      Company is leading the market within the core industries of focus. Work is challenging and fun. Demand to constantly grow and evolve skillsets to stay ahead of the market. Truly enjoy working with fellow team members and have made many new friends through CKM. Strong track record of recognizing and rewarding top performers. All of the current Directors in the leadership team worked their way up from more junior positions. Culture promotes and rewards self-starters. Company also does regular pro bono work and has made a meaningful impact for several non-profit efforts.

      Cons

      Office has expanded to multiple floors but is still getting a bit cramped. Need more space and ideally more consolidated space.

      - Learned a lot - Nice co-workers - Good work-life balance

      Cons

      - The workforce dropped from ~85 people to around ~25 people in about a year and a half - Good work can go un-noticed - They furloughed nearly 40% of the staff with hardly any notice - Hard to move up in the company - No equity - Below-market pay

      A sinking ship

      Pros

      The culture and community are very strong. Coworkers are very smart and great to work with. There is a lot of potential for growth, and being promoted can happen in a matter of months. The management treat us to nice dinners at fancy restaurants.

      Cons

      There are very few projects and the work that does come in isn't challenging or engaging. Most people are typically unassigned and working on internal tools that never see the day of light. Nepotism is rampant so unfortunately the directors are under qualified and have poor leadership and management skills. There is zero transparency and mass firings can occur at the drop of a hat. Over the past year the company has fired more than 60% of workers. This has seriously impacted morale. They pay very low and there have been numerous mistruths about bonus payouts. Compensation is based on nepotism, not experience.
