Pros

Flexibility with working from home. People are generally nice and there is a lot of independence. 401k is pretty good.

Cons

Unreasonable amount of work, especially since Chubb has invaded CNA. Too many files make it impossible to give the service that is expected.

Pros

CNA is a large company with a lot of insurance lines of business and groups to work across functions. Decent rotational program for accounting majors.

Cons

Very vertical organizational structure. Limited interaction across grade levels. Management typically excludes key contributors from presenting to decision makers. Deep engrained culture of taking credit for the work product created by staff. Rotation within groups is overly encouraged and results in constant training of new staff which leads to repeated errors in the work product.
