Pros

Hope I can mention one - alas there is none!

Cons

Contentserv a crappy company can set your career back and even jeopardize any kind of future success for an employee. Fellow career aspirants no matter how desperate you are for a job, or how annoyed you may be at your current gig, there are some companies you’re better off not working for – And Contentserv is one such Company. The Indian leadership here is very fickle. The postman MD here as referred to in one of the previous reviews has no specific quality than taking information from here to there which is developing a bad internal culture which makes retention nearly impossible, no matter how talented the new hires maybe. India has too many executives brainstorming, leaving too few employees tasked with executing. In the era of transparency, while most companies are fully aware that they must attract the best talent at Contentserv off-cycle promotions are provided for employees by means of nepotism firing few employees tasked with execution with no proper reasoning. Location leader makes promised in public however these are broken parallelly basis favoritism. When routed to HR result is blank stares and shrugged shoulders.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at Contentserv. We’re sorry that you didn’t have the best of times during your tenure here and it’s true that everyone has a unique experience while working here. As we all know the organization is undergoing a transformation in the areas of strategy, technology and also culture, change is something we all have to adapt to. Regarding your comment about the lack of quality in India leadership, I as the India Head would definitely be open to listen to your thoughts, and you can feel free to connect to me as per your convenience and pick a suggestion or to since a healthy organizational culture is very important to us. Like many other organization, regular performance reviews are a part of the continuous improvement process and we are not different so that we stay true to our commitment to our employees as well as our customers to deliver excellence in our products. We always believe that a fair evaluation of performances and associated rewards are done without any prejudice to anyone, keeping in mind the criticality of the roles and the value being added to the organization. We also note your comment about the brainstorming happening within the India leadership level, however, we strongly believe that rightly translated vision can help with the right execution of the strategy which is very important. Lastly, we really appreciate your suggestions, and will consider them as the organization continues to evolve towards maturity and wish you a great future ahead !!

We thank you for your opinion and also like to apologize for a delayed reply. We always encourage our colleagues to always enhance their skills and to keep learning. Some of our tech and soft-skills are oriented to make sure that the right fitment between the talent and the skill sets is achieved. Our organization is set up to achieve the right mix of strategizing, execution and effective collaboration across the locations and does not hinge on any one of them. We acknowledge your feedback on the managers and mid-managers and would like to mention that we do not encourage any sort of bad behaviour within the organization and take appropriate steps avoid the same from happening. I , as the location head would like to still assure you that we will make every effort so that any similar experiences that you may have encountered, won’t happen. Lastly, we wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.

We are proud to have team members who have been at Contentserv for many years, including those on the sales team that have risen through the ranks internally. A BDR role is not easy; we understand your frustration. We agree that PIM is a fairly mature market, and luckily, it is only one facet of Contentserv's technology capabilities. We are confident in our direction, and so are our investors who have backed us.
