Rough Times. Not what it used to be.

Pros

Work-Life Balance. Flexible Hours. Decent Benefits. Good entry type company. In the past, you would e-mail the management, even the CEO and they would respond, you would see the CEO come by the office once in a while, even schedule one on ones (Not anymore).

Cons

Personal/Work Life not separate at upper management. Bend safety rules and core company values for specific people in front of employees who have to follow the exact same rules being broken in front of them. CEO barely present now. Employee turnover in Texas was at the highest I have ever seen it. On the lower side of the salary scale. It hasn't always been this bad, only the past couple of years so I have hope that it can improve again.

Exceedingly flexible, great people, potential for very interesting work

Cons

Investment firm hell. Very high turnover and a company seemingly struggling to figure out how handle itself. Lots of talk about how great things are and how much potential there is but very little to show for it.

Mgmt consumed with perception and will divert resources to it rather then solving the actual issue at hand.
