Cort encourages working together in almost a family feel setting providing training on sales and customer service. Through a week long CORT University you learn how to meet the needs of the inner and outer customer.

Cons

Furniture availability and size was often a problem. Lack of inventory or furniture was too big to furnish corporate housing.

Pros

They have a lot of tools to help sales people succeed, and there are some truly wonderful folks throughout the organization. They add fresh new designs to the product offering every year and weed out the designs that aren't popular. Product is clean, well constructed and usually delivered on time.

Cons

The sales and administrative tools are a collection of different programs cobbled together instead of being one clean package created for the company, and learning to use all of them takes a long time. Stocking inventory is a nightmare, and trying to put together a rental package when half of the items aren't even in stock takes up so much valuable time and is so frustrating. I frequently had to switch products on the customer because the items they wanted went out of stock before the company could deliver the rental package.
